Is the spade silicone?
No the spade is a phthalate free recyclable polypropylene. We tried a silicone spade and it’s not easy to dig with! The reason we couldn’t produce a collapsible spade is our concern for children jamming their fingers in the hinge trying to close the spade so we felt better to be safe than sorry 🙂
